Wednesdays Impact & Positivity

Wednesdays Impact & Positivity

Good Morning Friends,

?

I hope this message finds you well rested and ready for the many opportunities before you today. Take time to share your positivity with those around you, sharing a laugh a funny story or a memory to remember you by. Our goal each day should be to lift people up and leave them better than we found them. I hope you find an opportunity to make that happen. Enjoy each moment and the inspiration, always remembering to pay it forward, as we all need a little positive motivation from time to time.

"Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.Life is beauty, admire it. Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is too precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it." — Mother Teresa

Seize the DayToday in my local newspaper was the obituary of a twenty-five year old man, the best man at my nephew's wedding a month ago. The point of relating this is to show that life is too short. Twenty-five. He had barely begun life as an adult, hardly seen life through grown-up eyes. It is a tragedy that we can all relate to, one we can all learn from. When sad events happen, as they are bound to, they should serve as a wake-up call to us; they are a call to action that we can use as motivation to get things done! This is to remind everyone and to spur you all on to seize the day! Life is short. It has been compared to a vapor, a wisp of air and with good reason. How true that is. If you don't know it, you need to wake up from the illusion you're under, and realize that life is fleeting! It will pass you by without a care if you let it. Therefore, we must make the most of every opportunity life presents us and strive to be the best we can be, no matter if it's cleaning toilets or designing spacecraft. BE GREAT! The trick to succeeding at any task is not to compare yourself to others. It is tough to do so but has to be, in order for success to take root and then blossom in your life. There is a Robin Williams movie that came out in the 80s called 'Dead Poet's Society' that has the theme 'Carpe Diem'! That little Latin phrase means simply, Seize the Day! Poets of old had a view of life that was different than that of everybody else. Instead of slogging through each day as if it were a miserable thing to be alive, poets saw then, and still do today, that life is a wondrous thing! They wanted to “Suck the marrow out of life.” They wanted to live every experience they could with as much passion as was possible. To live, love, and be involved in things dearest to their hearts! The legacy they leave is for us to do the same. Therefore, I urge each person to live each day as if it were his last, his final chance to do something great, his last chance to be amazing!

Wednesday’s attempt at humor……..

An Avon Lady was delivering products in a high-rise and was riding in the elevator. Suddenly, she had the powerful urge to fart. Since no one was in the elevator, she let it go - and it was a doozy. Of course, the elevator then stopped at the next floor, so she quickly used some Avon Pine-Scented Spray to cover up the smell. A man entered the elevator and immediately made a face. "Holy cow! What's that smell?" "I don't know, sir. I don't smell anything. What does it smell like to you?" "Like someone crapped a Christmas tree."
