Wednesday Wisdom: Traditions
As we head into the final few weeks of the year, traditionally I will pivot into a few weeks of commercial breaks before heading into holiday vacation. Since I missed an opportunity to share with you last week, I’m enjoying one final week of growth with you before my traditional holiday break.

Traditions are foundational in establishing who we are at our core. The person we are and the person we want to be. They are equally important in our places of business and as it relates to the growth of our companies. For established companies, focus on tradition may be leaning on the history and legacy built by the founders and the employees who have generated tenure over their invested employment. Understanding that even as a company evolves, by continuing to focus on core values and maintaining inclusivity of team members with legacy understanding and devotion to the brand – a company can help to welcome incoming generations of staff and nurture brand loyalty. Brand loyalty begets invested employees, invested employees generates a strong workforce and a strong workforce flows into positive customer experience and fuels success.
?
For young companies, it is a great opportunity to evaluate and clearly establish core values and consider how they will help to establish the foundation for the company’s future legacy in order to trigger the aforementioned opportunities.
?
In all efforts, as business leaders we should be looking to our teams to build and maintain traditions to touch our employees, keep them connected, and expand growth both internally and in the market.

I hope this week helps drive you to make good choices. Even if they are hard, even if you aren’t always able to find gratitude… still strive for good choices where you can.

But mostly – I hope you find ways to TOUCH – touch someone’s heart and soul, CONNECT – find ways to connect personally with something or someone, and EXPAND – expand your heart, your journey, your development.

Happy Wednesday and Happy Holidays,
