Came across this and thought how true those ten points are.
We all get stressed from time to time, some more than others, and it's good to take a step back and have a look at our lives now and then.
Yes I often dance around the kitchen when cooking, I go for walks regularly, I don't talk about it much because I don't get stressed much these days and deep breathing is part of one of my daily exercise routines.
I go to bed reasonably early... unless I am on a night out with the football lads, like last Saturday, I focus on what I can control and don't get involved in things I know nothing about or not interested in.
I joined in one of those posts on facebook the other day, something I don't do often. It was asking where you first met and I was surprised at the response. It brought back some great memories. It's great to reminisce about the good times.
On Saturday night I walked into the pub with the football lads and an old friend came straight across and gave me a big hug... so much for social distancing, but you can't beat a good hug, especially from family and friends.
I have always looked for opportunities in life's challenges, and believe me I have had a lot, and is one of the reasons why I have had so many businesses over the years.
And the last one... SMILE. In my teens my nickname was "smiler" and one of my favourite sayings is... "A smile is worth a thousand words".
How are you coping with Stress? Believe me, try those ten points, they do work.
Have a stress free day.
