Weddings at home-New Normal

While the different states in India are planning to unlock and get back to normal, Hotels are finding different ways to woo the guests back. May and June traditionally are always good months for Hotels for weddings with multiple auspicious dates. This year due to lockdown, weddings either got deferred or they were limited to #MicroWeddings. A lot of Hotels were closed to arrivals or were not allowed to cater to events. This has led to increased demand for weddings happening at home. #Events on Wheels - By Crowne Plaza Chennai Adyar Park'' was launched to cater to this new demand. Now the guests can celebrate the important moment with their friends and family at home and leave the planning to the hotel's team of experts and get the best food and service delivered at their doorstep.

While we are limping back to normalcy in some parts of India and some places we are still battling Covid19, in the short term is this the new trend for weddings? Till we start seeing those big fat Indian weddings back at hotels, we are happy to cater to these intimate weddings.
