Wedding and Events Venues being more flexible

I am hearing many reports that certain venues are including suppliers in there packages, or being very strict on who the clients can use, this is very very wrong, as every client has there own story, style and personality. Some of these services may include DJ, Toastmaster, Decor, Master of Ceremonies and Photobooths.

It is very important for the clients to have a rapport with the suppliers on there wedding day and prior, clients need to ensure they communicate with these suppliers at the time of making there booking, in order to ensure they fit there criteria, if they do not, the venues need to be a lot more flexible, and allow who ever the clients require as long as they are fully insured, and they should be welcomed with the same level of professional courtesy.

The venues may also wish to consider discounted there price, if the clients do not agree to the suppliers in there package.

If the client has been told a DJ is included for example, the client must communicate with them, prior to entering an agreement with the venue.

What the venues should be saying:-

We have worked with this one or that one in the passed, however you are welcome to use whoever you wish, providing they can supply all the necessary insurance documents.

I also hear that certain venues are very set in there ways, and don’t think about how the clients want there day, don’t be pressured in any way, the clients have the right to have there day according to there personal style and wishes.
