I hope this post finds you well. Today, I wanted to share an essential update that will impact businesses that are created using Google My Business. Starting March 1, 2024, websites created through Google Business Profiles will be turned off, and customers attempting to visit these sites will be redirected to the corresponding Business Profile instead. This redirection will be active until June 10, 2024.

Here are some key points to keep in mind:

Domain Changes: Domains ending with business.site and negocio.site will be removed from the website field on your business profile as of March 1st.?I strongly recommend updating your Google Business Profile to reference a new website.

Business Profile Unaffected: Apart from the website redirection, your Business Profile remains unchanged. Customers visiting your former Google Business Profile website will seamlessly be redirected to your Business Profile, showcasing your business information, updates, and contact details.

Website Redirect Deadline: The website redirection will only be active until June 10, 2024. After this date, visitors attempting to access your former Google Business Profile website will receive a "page not found" error.

Third-Party Domains: If you're using a custom domain to forward traffic to your Google Business Profile website, remember that the redirection will only work until June 10, 2024. Log in to your hosting company account and set up a redirect to a different website before the deadline.
