Webinar - Introduction to Industrial Robot Safety

Robots are becoming ever more a part of our society and factory automation is leading the way. There are many hazards that robots can pose to people, despite being utilised to help keep people out of harms way being one of the great benefits of using robots in automation.

The global standards for robots are in the process of being updated, but before the release we will look at the main safety requirements when using robots, including applications where robots and people can interact – collaborative applications.

Participants will learn:

• What standards relate to the industrial robots.
• What are the potential issues that need to be considered
• What are collaborative applications and how to make them safe
