The world of Web3 is teeming with opportunities, but navigating this new and dynamic job market can be daunting for recent graduates. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you embark on a successful career in this rapidly evolving field:

1. Gain Initial Experience

Begin your journey by immersing yourself in the Web3 ecosystem. Start small by engaging with Decentralized Applications (dApps) to get hands-on experience with blockchain technology and digital assets. This will help you understand the basics of smart contracts and decentralized finance (DeFi).

2. Learn the Fundamentals

Educate yourself on the core principles of blockchain. Understand what blockchain is, its values, and why DeFi is revolutionizing the financial system. Learn about non-custodial wallets and the importance of security in blockchain transactions. Utilize resources like online courses, webinars, and industry blogs. The Mamram Blockchain Incubator ????

In a groundbreaking move, the Mamram Alumni Association has launched Israel's first Blockchain Incubator, targeting Blockchain & Web3 entrepreneurs to boost innovation in the ecosystem. Known for its rich 65-year history and affiliation with the Israeli Defense Force’s Center of Computing and Information Systems, Mamram has nurtured over 850 ventures, with 110 undergoing extensive mentoring processes.

Mamram's Programs and Impact

Mamram’s entrepreneurship programs have supported 275 entrepreneurs, helping them grow their companies and raise over $300 million. Their programs include:

• Mamram Seeds: For individuals starting their startups.
• Mamram Space: A pre-seed startups’ accelerator.
• Mamram for Founders: For Seed & Round A startups’ CEOs and CTOs.
• Mamram Growth: For Round B and up.

Every Mamram-founded startup can apply for the Startup Package, which includes $60K in benefits and credits for cloud providers like AWS, GCP, MongoDB, and CRM tools like monday.com .

The Mamram Blockchain Incubator (M.B.I)

This year, Mamram has taken a significant leap into the blockchain domain with the launch of the Mamram Blockchain Incubator (M.B.I). This initiative began with a unique three-day blockchain challenge, culminating in a pitch night where top teams and individuals were selected to join M.B.I's first batch.

The challenge addressed major blockchain issues such as real-world asset integration, interoperability, identity theft, ownership of information, cross-border payments, and bridging Web2 to Web3. Participants presented innovative solutions to these problems, demonstrating the vast potential of blockchain technology.

Program Structure and Industry Collaboration

M.B.I is integrated between Mamram Seeds and Mamram Space, focusing on the critical ideation stage of a startup’s life cycle. This focus is crucial, given the complexities and opportunities in blockchain technology.

Industry leaders from the Israeli Blockchain ecosystem and influential Web 3.0 companies like StarkWare, FireBlocks, Consensys, Gornitzky & Co., and Collider provide guidance to teams in the program, ensuring they receive the best possible support.

Strategic Goals and Activities

The association aims to impact the local blockchain community by curating professional courses, programs, and events. Their activities include:

• Annual M.B.I. meet-ups
• Specialized courses to support women in the blockchain industry
• An "Intro to Blockchain 101" course, which has already seen tremendous success

As an advisor to the M.B.I. program, I believe these initiatives are essential. They equip young entrepreneurs with critical skills and knowledge while advancing the blockchain industry in Israel. Moreover, they strengthen the Web3 community by fostering connections between key players and newcomers, enabling the exchange of valuable insights and experiences.
