Web Summit 2018 (or Wet Summit for those who has been there :)) Summary

Coming back from The Web Summit in Lisbon 2018 want to share my thoughts/learnings with you, HERE YOU GO:

1. In 2019, 50% of population would be on the web, crazy! (not surprising, even my granny has a Facebook account :))
2. Millennials are more likely to buy experience than something material, your service better be Good! (So the candidate experience in recruitment)
3. Google search engine loves Lists, if you want your website to be more visible, make a List, as easy as that (creating one just now :)) SEO <3 me now. Also, answer the question in your website, people love to ask! You probably asking too now :)
4. Photography is dead, 360% is a new Wow, you could attend and feel the fashion from NY, Paris or London remotely. (Business of Fashion is getting super innovative, new fabrics, VR and more). Virtual fashion show, who is joining me?
5. How to keep the best in the company. The Summit University says we have to celebrate those who were in the company for a while? @sofiia kondrashova @Mariam Gurgenidze, @Simona Cerneckyte, @Matthias Adler, you are my favorite while/s.
6. Some surprising facts on Booking.com, they are invading the Asian market, that was new for me, plus, they were giving a great mentorship support for female in tech at the Web Summit which is amazing. For those who want to keep the female IT in the teams, create the Woman tech awards, small but great initiative, McKinsey study 2015 shows that teams with ladies are better performers.
7. Finally, We will be traveling by autonomous cars , the startup pitch competition winner this year is Wayve - self driving car startup, good luck, guys, looking forward on what is next! #AI is cool!

This year Summit was my second one and I could say that it’s very good for meeting new talented and active entrepreneurs, 17k of them, to be precise, learning new things on tech, fashion, marketing, content, startups and just have fun, all in all, we live to make a world a better place, let’s start from the Web!
