Web Design and Development Projects
Since the early days of PageMill, I have been working on websites and moved to CMS platforms from 2008 onwards.
Also, the full service is offered, including server and PHPMyAdmin use, including database creation and management. Using WebConfig or HTAccess to ensure that only one URL type is used and not multiple. Here are some of the sites which I currently have.
Product Information Finder
A Word Press / WooCommerce site designed entirely from scratch to match an existing design. The idea was to finally get all product technical info online which is easy for customers and employees to use.
This site is for product information only, so all commerce elements were stripped out using code and also CSS. The main issue was an Add to Wish List feature I needed to put in. Several plug ins didn't work the way I wanted to, so I had the bright idea to convert the Basket to a Wish List by renaming, hiding and coding certain elements.
Very proud of the site and achievement as it was done entirely in-house. I spent months collating spreadsheets and importing into Access to then run Queries and export the correct data with dimensions, weights, etc. into CSV formats for importing into WooCommerce.
The site coding and CSS work was also done in-house as well as managing an unexpected server switch. Analytics were then combined with our main site and it's helped drastically increase the number of visits as each page (over 400 extra) has a high SEO value
Sassco.co.uk
The Sassco.co.uk site has been active since the early 2000's. Designed to keep track of the match reports and activities of a 6-a-side league expanded to an 11-a-side team, and over a decade of overseas tours.
Originally designed in Adobe PageMill and then Dreamweaver as static cut and paste sites, was moved over to Joomla in 2009 and remains so, with a customised template. Massive site with hundreds of pages, videos and historical articles.
Nowcosmetic.co.uk
The Now Cosmetic site originally started as a Botox and Lip Filler information site. This is also a Joomla site. The design, similar to the Sassco site was modelled on the Digg website, which displayed news stories in a neat format. This template was modified.
The number of stories and useful articles were added over a year and boosted the site in Google with relevant content. Eventually Now Cosmetic became a fully fledged business and the pricing and service details were added to a site which brings regular enquiries.

Chimney Services NE was designed for a friend and is a simple site, in WordPress, with various installation examples and service examples.

Sassco Design is my own Freelance Service site. As with most freelancers, you tend to concentrate less on your site :)
415clinic.co.uk
415 Clinic is a recent WordPress site which is being worked on. The articles actually come from the Joomla Now Cosmetic site and were exported and then imported to add content to a site which covers two companies offering similar services and working in partnership.
