It's been a busy few months:
We were thrilled to have our very own Josh Williams grace the cover of the July 2023 Minnesota Valley Business magazine and featured in a story about the economy has impacted construction in different ways.
Higher interest rates, concerns about the economy, inflation and some lingering supply chain problems make the residential and commercial construction business challenging.
But local developers said the strength and growth of the region still offer opportunities for builders.
“We all have a few scars from it, but we’re excited about what the future holds. I think it’s very promising in this area for commercial and residential.”

NEW PROJECTS
Nicollet Ave Apartments
This new 9-unit residential complex with beautiful views of Mankato across the river consists of 8 two-bedroom units and 1 ADA-compliant one-bedroom unit. Keyless entry systems were integrated into each apartment and off-street parking is available. This project had a high focus on energy efficiency and was completed for Aug. 1st move-in. At completion, all units were already leased.
Axis Lofts
Axis Lofts is a brownfield site on the former Dutler's Bowl property that will become a 4-story building with commercial spaces on the 1st level and 72-apartments above. Demolition was completed recently and construction is in beginning stages for completion in 2024.
Hotel Alexander
Hotel Alexander is in early stages demolition of the complete renovation of the former Mankato Citizens Telephone Company offices on Hickory St. in downtown Mankato. The project is named in tribute to its history and will have 28 hotel rooms with a prime location for downtown events.
