Web accessibility

Web accessibility will be extra efforts, overhead for development team and extra cost for project. Why to spend money for just 1% of user base.

Frankly speaking it’s a MYTH that it will be extra effort and cost, if you do right things in right way then there will be NO EXTRA COST at least for basic functionality. Web accessibility is to provide not better just BEST user experience nothing more than that. Minor cost is involved for complex functionalities, if anyone feel any difficulties feel free to reach me.

Do you think your development team is following web development guidelines, if yes then you should not worry, most of the things are already taken care of.

If not then don’t you think your development team should follow proper standards and guidelines this is just for quality of your product not for 1% of population.

Sometime we don’t follow web standards and we blame IE browser and we end up messing up with HTML or adding some tweaks to fix them quickly better take a step back and see if you missed anything while designing. If you follow right approach then you don't have to worry for accessibility most of the frameworks already provide support the same.
