Weathering the Storms
mWAVE’s Gabriel Severe Environment standard and high performance parabolic antennas are engineered for challenging site conditions that experience extreme weather conditions such as snow, ice and high winds. These antennas are the professional network engineers preferred go-to antenna where high winds are prevalent and absolutely must survive wind-loads of 150 mph (241kph). These models are also able to be configured to meet a survival rating of 200 mph (322 kph). A typical industry standard survival rating for a solid parabolic antenna is 125 mph (201 kph).
Severe Environment antenna models utilize a variety of engineered, manufacturing methods and components to achieve your required operational and survival ratings. The use of reinforced reflector rims, back rings, robust shrouds, heavy duty radomes and specially designed fixed struts to achieve your sites antenna requirements.
Hundreds of these Gabriel severe environment models have been deployed worldwide in support of critical microwave networks in some of the worst conditions possible while meeting and exceeding the end-user / operators expectations.
The Gabriel antenna brand, owned by mWAVE Industries LLC, features an extensive product line of directional parabolic antennas ranging from standard, high performance and ultra-high performance models. Since its beginning in 1943 thousands of Gabriel’s parabolic and horn reflector antennas serve millions of channel miles throughout the world in mobile, telephony, industrial, pipeline, utility, broadcast, public safety, government and military applications.
