What motivated you to start your business.?
I have always had a desire to be an entrepreneur, however I did not take the leap until I retired from my corporate job in 2017.?My son also motivated me, I wanted to leave a legacy of generational wealth.?
What training/experiences did you have prior to starting this business that helped make you successful?
My corporate America experience, CPA license, and IT knowledge are the prior experiences that set the foundation for my business.?Years of working in those sectors developed my skill set to the point that I was ready to venture out on my own.

Tell me about a time you faced a difficult hardship or challenge in your business??
Like most non-essential businesses, our revenue took a hit upon the onset of Covid-19.?To stay afloat, I had to think of a new direction for the business.?I changed the dynamics of being a solo consulting firm to adding additional employees.
What’s next for your business? What does the future hold for you and your company??
I plan to aggressively expand my company in the next year by obtaining additional contracts at the federal and state level in auditing.?I will take full advantage of?participating in the SBA T.H.R.I.V.I.N.G. Emerging Leaders Program and in?obtaining our company’s State of Texas CPA firm license.?2023 will be the year I attain a few more of our company’s benchmarks, including the increased number of contracts and employees.
