How we designed a groundbreaking solution that contributes to the overall advancement of medicine.

Continuing this week’s discussion of medical devices, I want to share our experience in this industry. Verisense by @Shimmer is a wearable health tracker, a cloud platform for data analysis, and a mobile app. The solution collects biometric data from wearable devices 24/7, enabling constant monitoring. Mainly, it’s focused on clinical trials.

At Diceus, we handled the software part. In close cooperation with Shimmer, we developed a customizable cloud service and mobile application for comprehensive medical analysis. From wrist sensors, data moves to the web solution that processes it and displays on dashboards. Using one interface, researchers can configure wearables and analytical processes.

With the Verisense tracker and cloud platform, doctors can get real-time accurate patients’ data, cut costs of clinical trials, and speed up analysis. Eventually, it leads to more accurate diagnoses and optimized treatment plans. Overall, the project represents an innovative approach to digital transformation in healthcare.
