WEALTH TRIALS, TEST AND TRIUMPH

WEALTH TRIALS, TEST AND TRIUMPH

How I Got Admission into the University on a Sunday

Every victory comes with its trial, test, and moment of intervention.

There are seasons in life when doors seem shut, and no logical explanation can justify why things aren’t working—but that doesn’t mean the door won’t open.

I’ve lived this reality more times than I can count.

Some Patterns Would Repeat Themselves BUT Observe them and Learn Objectively, Intuively and Intelligently.

As a child, getting admitted into school was difficult. My parents couldn’t understand why a less-than-two-year-old couldn’t find a place, but the answer was never in human logic. Eventually, I got in—not because of merit, but because a child who was admitted never showed up.

The same struggle resurfaced when I applied for secondary school. Six different schools—six rejections.

When I was about to sit for my Federal Common Entrance Exam, I woke up with Apollo (conjunctivitis). My vision was blurry, my eyes were red, and writing the exam became a battle of faith.

Even after I finally secured admission into Demonstration Secondary School, ABU, I was told someone had already collected my admission letter! The person couldn’t be traced, and I had to pay heavily to get a new one.

Again, I couldn't understand why.

Then came university admission. I had all my papers, my results were solid, but while everyone else got in, I remained stuck. Those with lesser results moved forward, but I stayed behind.

I began to wonder: What was wrong? Why was my story always different?

One day, my dad mentioned to a tailor opposite our house that I was struggling with admission. The man simply said, "I know someone. Let’s go see him tomorrow—Sunday."

Disruptions Comes With Shifts: When Divine Timing Overrides Human Protocol

By 2 PM that Sunday, we arrived at the university campus and went straight to the house of Late Prof. George Kwanashie.

We were told he was in the office.

We went there.

The staff said he was busy.

But when they mentioned that someone from his village wanted to see him, he came down.

My dad’s friend handed him my results. He glanced at them and said something I will never forget:

“That boy must be a lucky boy. Tell him to check his name tomorrow morning.”

And just like that, I got my admission.

A pattern was broken.

A delay was reversed.

A struggle was ended.

What This Means for You

  • There is going to be a Moment of Surprise that Would make a Totally Difference.
  • Setbacks are not Conclusions BUT Preparations for Change.
  • Become Sensitive to Leverage opportunities in Mentorship, Coaching and Sponsorships.

I don’t know where you are right now, but here’s the truth:

? God is mindful of you.

? Your closed doors are not your final destination.

? There is a moment of divine intervention that changes everything.

There is a man sent from God. There is a moment of salvation.

May you meet your man. May you not miss your moment.

"Surely there is an end, and thine expectation shall not be cut off." (Proverbs 23:18)

Divine intervention is not a suggestion in the journey of life—it is the principal solution.

Don’t give up. Your story is about to change.

Think and Reflect on these.

  1. Life’s Delays Are Not Denials → Sometimes, rejection is a redirection to a greater intervention. Your struggle is not proof of failure—it may just be a divine setup for something bigger.
  2. Help Often Comes from Unlikely Places → It was a tailor, not a professor, who pointed me to the person that changed my story. Your next breakthrough may come through an unexpected connection. Stay open.
  3. God Uses People, But You Must Move → If I had stayed home that Sunday, I would have missed my moment. Faith requires action. When God nudges you to move, don’t hesitate—your next step could be your breakthrough.
