Wealth Manager Spotlight: Benedict Lee
This edition of our ‘Wealth Manager’s Spotlight’ features Benedict Lee ?as he shares his journey to wealth management and how he supports his clients.?
Before embarking on my journey as a wealth manager at Vastus Wealth, I spent four years at AIAFA. During my time in the financial service industry, I encountered individuals with various financial difficulties. This experience fueled my passion for helping others and sharing my expertise. I am confident that my knowledge and expertise will enable me to provide added value to my clients in this complex world of finance and insurance.
When I met Vastus Wealth CEO Chris Chan and CDO Benny Chan , they shared their mission, vision, and the future they envision for Vastus Wealth. I found myself aligned with the company's direction, which is why I made the decision to join the Vastus Wealth team, aiming to improve the lives of our fellow men and women.
2. How do you ensure your clients feel supported throughout their financial journey?
I support my clients by providing them with comprehensive and prestigious services pertaining to their finances. This includes wealth management, insurance, and liabilities. I ensure that their financial reports demonstrate healthy ratios, enabling them to pursue their financial goals or retire comfortably through a holistic wealth management approach.

My expertise lies in the field of retirement planning, which addresses one of the biggest gaps faced by many Singaporeans. To me, retirement is not simply a quantitative figure to strive for; it represents financial readiness, allowing individuals to choose when they want to stop working.?
During the retirement planning process, several factors such as assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and insurance must be considered.
It is my deep passion for the financial service industry that drives me to assist clients in financial planning for both wealth protection and wealth accumulation. Knowing that I have made a positive impact in their lives is incredibly rewarding.
3. What aspect of your work do you find most fulfilling?
Ultimately, my goal as a wealth manager is to ensure that my clients retire happily and live fulfilling lives, rather than merely existing in a "just-in-case" retirement lifestyle. Moreover, I strive to help them leave behind a legacy for future generations. Being able to support them throughout their financial journey brings immense satisfaction as a financial planner.
