Wealth Management, God’s Way
When the subject of money, wealth and the Bible become a topic of conversation, there will be numerous opinions and beliefs. And, be sure someone will mention the countless self-professed unbelievers who are wealthy. True, but we don’t know God’s plan for these unbelievers or reasons He has blessed them. Since a significant portion of our life revolves around earnings, savings, giving, and spending, our relationship with money isn’t something we can just brush aside. The Bible has over 2,000 verses about money, possessions, giving, and tithing, with over 100 verses specifically about tithing, giving, and generosity. That's twice as many Bible verses about money than faith and prayer combined. Thus, what the Bible says about money is essential to our lives. Deuteronomy 8:18: “But remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms His covenant, which He swore to your ancestors, as it is today.” It's God's will for His children to prosper, according to the authority of God's Word, 1 Chronicles 29:12: “Wealth and honor come from You; You are the ruler of all things. In Your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.” Those who attain wealth without God, risk torment, family divisions, hatred, divorce, anger, and misery. Solomon tells us Proverbs 10:22: “The blessing {prosperity} of the LORD makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” Our work lives and careers begin small, yet great things have small beginnings. When we put our hand in the hand of God, in a few years, we’ll have wealth that we never thought possible. Jesus told us, Luke 6:38: “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” If you choose to tithe, God said, “I will rebuke the devourer {Satan} for your sake”. That means God will restrain the devil, holding him back from touching what belongs to us. He will not allow Satan to touch our children, our business, or to control our health. God stops Satan from being able to torment our mind and rule us with depression. Some say tithing and giving is Old Testament, but from my count there are 41 verses within the New Testament. Understand, the Bible is a book of prosperity for all of God’s children. Joshua 1:8: “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” Jesus said, Luke 12:34: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” There is so much more I could write on this topic. So, let me leave you with this consideration. If you decide to obey God’s Word and God’s economic laws, it will bring you the power to acquire wealth. And I assure you, on the authority of God's Word, living on the kingdom’s economy opens the door to receive the blessings of the Lord in abundance.

8 个月What does the Bible say about finances and money??Much is written about money in the Bible and we need to be careful that it doesn’t rules our lives, and become something we worship, like an idol. God's desires for us to be prosperous and He knows that worshiping money (the love of money) will keep us from that.
