Weak America...

Weak America...

Weak America...

When the elite repeats history...

#Biden fell... Biden stumbled... Biden had a slip of the tongue... Biden made mistakes... Biden is a fool.

And despite all that, he announced his candidacy for a second term in the upcoming presidential elections. And despite this and that, it is possible that he will win a second term as long as the war in #Ukraine is not resolved yet.

What is happening in America today is a repetition of the second term of Lyndon B. Johnson, 1963-1969 (entered the Vietnam War - civil unrest erupted - crime rates rose - Republican Party infighting). Documents published about that era indicate that Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara stated in a secret meeting with his aides, "We are in Vietnam 10% to defend South Vietnam, 20% to contain China's influence, and 70% to save face for the United States." This means that there is no strategic importance for this small country and that the war has deeper and broader goals that were not directly addressed. What are these goals?

The war was justified by its negative outcomes to change the strategy of the global economy, especially the American economy, after the Bretton Woods era, where it was announced in 1971 that the United States would no longer convert the dollar into gold (breaking the Bretton Woods Agreement) due to the high costs imposed by the burdens of the Vietnam War. The US Treasury had to spend more than $110 billion on this losing war in Vietnam without any gold or other cover. This American separation from Bretton Woods achieved several economic gains for the elite that governs America. The author of the book "Lords of Finance," which tells the story of the catastrophic transformations from and to the gold standard between the two world wars, says, "The centrality of the US dollar as a global currency in trade and capital markets was enhanced by 1971, removing the restrictions imposed on the fiscal and monetary policies of the United States. The liberalization of capital markets after 1971 was indeed a huge blessing for the financial system and American financial companies because there was no alternative."

In light of this American play, the world's economies weakened, and the Federal Reserve remained the strongest financial institution in the world, while Wall Street also became more powerful, supported by the deregulation in the three decades that followed 1971.

That's how America plays its game, and people are asleep.

American democracy is a smokescreen in the eyes of the world, and the choice of the president is based on America's interests and its political maneuvering, not based on what the people choose, who see their current president as disgraceful. America is the greatest country that can convince you of what it wants, and when it succeeded in convincing the world of its weakness, it was able to know who its enemies are and how to win the war in the end.

Mohammed AlQahtani, Actually, Trump is much more likely to win. Biden, to put it mildly, is not physically now mentally fit for the job. His Vice is a non-starter and if anyone can stop the war in Ukraine in America that would surely be Trump. I can't believe I just typed that line but that's the world we live in today. The shift from the gold reserve benefited the real owners of the "Federal Reserve" ?? The facade has fallen to the ground and the US like Israel doesn't care if they have to show their Ugly True Colors. There's a famous quote in Robert Reich's book "The Work of Nations," which says "Countries don't have permanent friends only permanent interests."

The United States, with its track record of human and civil rights violations, within the confines of its own borders, seems to be in the business of lecturing other countries about human rights. It's like the pot calling the kettle black! Instead of pretending to be the moral authority, the U.S. should accept criticism in the spirit of the freedom of speech and human rights it proclaims. If the U.S. is serious about Human Rights, it should engage in meaningful dialogue rather than engaging in hypocritical grandstanding. Only through humility, self-awareness, and a genuine commitment to human rights can anyone truly lead by example and contribute to a more just and equitable world, not hypocrisy! I agree with Mohammed AlQahtani, one should not make the mistake of assuming that the actions of a government represent the thoughts and opinions of an entire population. The American people are diverse, and they deserve credit for their activism and efforts to challenge and change policies they find objectionable.
