The difference between gossip and reality is the money our artists are making that is our bottom line as an industry.  We are not tired of any songs playing, the only thing we tired about is in-fact the kind of status that seeks to undermine our heritage, local talent and progress. incase you were not informed music was and still is the only vehicle we have that communicates to all of us at different level and circumstances.

Please take your time to research on Patriotism in the media context. The kind of agenda that you seek to set is terribly uncold for. Secondly most of you have never really bought an original CD - yet you claim to be music listeners, if local music aint working for you go by your favorite  and stop diluting society with your negative perceptions (buy headphones while at it). 

its funny in all your functions you all book local musicians, to bring you audience and crowd and for bragging purposes yet so quick to fight against their freedom as an industry. A south African owned media house will not seek or even dare to look down on its own, start learning not to be mislead against your very own. 

This is history on record and money to their skilled professions. SABC took a bold move and that is what this country needed, to start empowering home made products instead of our counterparts.

South Africa is capable of doing international competing music worldwide and we have proven that but since you not in the industry let me highlight this to you.

Until, they play our own music like we play theirs - lets not make each other fools. Its time to share the rand local and for the dollar to invite us in its territory. This is not time to buy anyones face, but time to be realistic to fake media don't try us.

Don't forget that without any of this local artists being your content you won't have anything to write about that sells.
