IF WE WHO HOLD THINGS AGAINST OTHERS, LEARN TO FORGIVE THEM, OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN WILL EQUALLY FORGIVE US OUR SINS!

The passage, ‘Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead, I press on’ (Philippians 3:13-14 NIVUK), reminds those who have had others abuse, cheat on, lie about, fire and otherwise mistreat them, or have failed themselves and are now asking for how they can get beyond past mistakes and become successful again that, whatever our particular hurt, the solution is not in feeding or denying them, but in forgiving and letting them go or we continue to hurt ourselves. In other words, whatever we refuse to forgive and let go of, we will carry with us forever, like an albatross around our necks. So let the knowledge that: 1) The greater the offence, the harder it is to forgive, but forgive, we must; 2) Choosing not to forgive somebody is like eating poison and expecting the other person to die; and 3) If we who hold things against others, learn to forgive them, our Father in Heaven will equally forgive us our sins; teach you, in order to keep moving forward in life, to let go of everything and be at peace with the past!FG. www.fgtalks.com
