We Welcome People of All Stripes.
We are incredibly proud to have launched our newest brand campaign “For People of All Stripes” this week, on World Kindness Day. It is both a rallying cry for who we are as a brand and a celebration of everyday kindness. We celebrate all people, from all different walks of life, who come together to make TGI Fridays such a unique and special place.
It’s also a reminder that even in the most divisive times, people have a real hunger for community. No matter what may divide us outside our doors, the only thing that should come between us inside a TGI Fridays is a table filled with delicious food. Or a bar filled with amazing drinks. Or the memories we make when we come together to have a good time.
One of my favorite things about this campaign, is that it’s about real people. Our people. I love that we’re showing off our real guests, real bartenders, and real servers in our ads. Because that’s what TGI Fridays is about, people of all stripes uniting. It’s about our bartenders, who entertain and amaze and create a bar experience like no other. It’s about our servers, who aren’t afraid to show their personalities and make sure that every guest feels welcome. And it’s about our guests, who we welcome with open arms no matter where they come from, what they look like, how they’re dressed, where they stand on the issues, or who they choose to love. All are welcome here.
Let’s remind the world that our stripes stand for something. Ever since we opened our doors in 1965, they’ve been an open invitation for people of all stripes to come in, sit down and enjoy themselves. For me, it’s not just an advertising slogan. It’s the belief that we all share. And it’s a reminder that even when life gets complicated, it’s the simple things that matter most.
I’m proud of our people. And I look forward to welcoming new people, of all stripes, to come through our doors and share in the good times.
This is a new chapter for our brand that I couldn’t be more excited about.
We are TGI Fridays. We are People of All Stripes.

5 年Ray, I would appreciate if you could reach out to me when you find time. This is regarding your 5th Avenue location experience over the holidays. When was the last time you were there? You really need to experience for yourself. Your customer service is in the Philippines, I had a hard time understanding the associate. After chasing down customer service, I finally spoke to Jennifer in your customer relations department at the Dallas headquarters. As far as I’m concerned, she has no skills to be in that role. I’m a 58 year old Food & Beverage Professional. Currently a Research Chef for a Flavor Co in New Jersey.
