Hello Project Brains Community

We are thrilled to announce that Project Brains has just turned two years old!?

Now that we are two, we feel ever more confident in our mission to change how professionals embrace the Future of Work. Just like bustling toddlers who walk with uneven feet and legs wide apart, we love to walk into new client relationships and jump across industries. We are learning a lot and are ready to express our views.

First, let us take a moment to celebrate the second anniversary of working with you!!! Thanks to your unwavering support, our community has grown to more than 15,000 followers in over 32 countries, friends like you who share our steadfast belief in your superpowers - your personal talents, your skills and experiences as a specialist, and your professional networks.

We envision a future where building a portfolio of fractional engagements becomes the cornerstone of career growth for talent across industries.?

So what is happening this year!

Co-working space leader WeWork shocked us with tough news last month, flagging company losses and questioning their own viability. This is despite hybrid/ remote working being the strong preference of so many professionals. TalentNeuron's latest survey recorded that an overwhelming 97% workers prefer remote models, and talent acquisition strategies that do not reflect it find it tough to attract-in-demand specialists.

For us, this does not signal any change though. We feel some move too quickly without building a strong, deep and abiding alignment of interests. This is something our Project Brains community aims to tackle.

As scary as the Future of Work may seem, our community of ambitious businesses and highly-skilled fractional specialists grows stronger each day. We share an exciting future outlook of rapid growth with flexibility, and creating mutual value.

Embracing lifelong learning, we aim to educate each other on the power of Future of Work. So we have started a series of short podcast-styled discussions with guest speakers. We call them Fractional Diaries. The speakers have worked as fractional specialists themselves, or work with them in their business.?

We will release 3-4 new episodes every month, and have a few secrets up our sleeves too. You can check out past episodes on our website, or subscribe to our YouTube channel.

Current topics cover how AI improves business workflows, how areas like business law are being fractionalised, and customer service is becoming more experiential, like we got used to Alexa and Google Assistant at home.
