I recently served on a panel of judges along with my old friend Angela Yee, and the incredible Isoken Igbinedion?and Jomara Negron, for the inaugural Do You Fellowship Pitch Competition, where 11 Black and Latina entrepreneurs pitched for non-equitable grants totaling $90k.?

Only 2% of women-founded companies receive VC funding. Out of that small 2% of women, the combined share of venture capital for Black and Latina women-founders is only slightly over 1%, which is double the amount of funding these founders received in 2020. ?

Enter Digitalundivided, a non-profit that aims to expand access to venture capital through its year-long Do You Fellowship. The fellowship provides Black and Latina founders with workshops, mentors, and networks to help their startups thrive.?
