We are in this together

Having worked as a Human Resources professional for over twenty years, I’ve seen my fair share of challenges. Coronavirus, however, is a crisis unlike any I, or indeed many of you, may have encountered before. It goes without saying that it has had substantial personal and professional implications on every decision made.  

What has really stood out for me, my team and the leadership team, is how fast we were able to change our way of working. All of our teammates were able to quickly adapt and deal with the challenges ahead at home, with family and the balance between work and private life. 

It is my firm belief that the culture we all have built at Insight is what has kept us going and got us to where we are today. There have been some outstanding initiatives launched by our teammates and the leadership team to stay engaged and informed. My team and I had to react to our new reality quickly and had to change the way we recruit, onboard, train and support our teammates. The first teammates are now onboarded without meeting their manager in person or seeing an office! 

We have now been working in this new way between six and ten weeks, and we need to make sure we all stay committed to our business and continue to look out for each other and our families.  

Please continue to stay connected to each other, especially to those who need a listening ear or just someone to talk to when they need support. Make sure that every teammate knows that we are here for each other and that our culture and values of Heart, Hunger and Harmony will continue to shine.
