We have all been hit hard by Wednesday’s Parkland, Fla., school shooting, but none more so than the Parkland community itself. Let’s all hold that community in our hearts, right now and in the years to come during their long recovery process. They need our emotional and spiritual support.

This tragedy also serves as a reminder of the importance of appropriate safety and security measures. The Parkland mass shooting should serve to bolster our core mission of keeping students, faculty, staff and administration safe.
