Are We Souls or Spirits?

(This question; “Are we Souls or Spirits” was asked of me in truth (while in heavy debate on the issue of…. You guessed it, Biblical principles. I know, I know – this is a business site. Let’s just do this water cooler, coffee bar thing for the heck of it) by a brother here on LI, and I thought I could/would attempt to comply with his request (as if I know what the heck I’m doing) by penning this piece.

Before I answer this question, let me preference my answer, which may make since to some… and to others, oh what the heck…. Here goes. (Feel free to correct my train of thought if you can make it through this article…. At least you’ll be entertained by my confusing style of writing).

Preference Fact; No man or woman on earth knows what they know today without being taught by man or researching and learning what man has written, re-written, created and/or experienced previously. Understand that when information is brought forward there is some “change” in that information through time to translate the difference in dialog for better understanding for all cultures. Now we can ask the question; Those translations’ that were made... were they made to benefit the one(s) who seek power, dominance and so called “riches”? Information has been taught, researched and learned thru generations upon generations going all the way back to the beginning of man… and some of it, without a doubt was or has been changed.

Case and point…. since you have been on this Earth…. Born…. Alive… Able to comprehend and/or had the ability to preconceive what you are about to say or do…. Have you ever and I mean ever, changed a story, situation or event to benefit yourself (you may not do it now, but what about in the past?). In other words, have you ever lied? Sure, we all have at some point and time in our lives (for some of us, many times… for some of us, we still do). Even you reading this, yes you.

Warning! Intentional blank space so you can fill in that void in you conscious and sub-conscious.

Shifting gears - It’s a funny thing that we put so much emphasis on Knowledge & Wisdom, but that’s the will & freedom we as humans..... this was given to us by our “Creator”. Now, understand that emphasis’ on Knowledge & Wisdom is not a bad thing…. The thing is, you should always research where that Knowledge & Wisdom came from.

In knowing what you know now, ask these simple questions of yourself;

Did it come from man or women recently or men and women of the past? If so,

Is there a great possibility it was altered? Sure it is!

Did it have a great influence on my culture (talking all cultures here, none are exempt) as a direct result of its teachings? Sure it did, check the stats & data.

Do the findings of said information change how you (individually) react to or believe things past present and going forward?

Yep, it sure does…. Look at how your life, mindset, attitude, etc. change when you find things to be true or false! Or your “emotions” make you think you know they are true or false!

This learning phase..... was it spiritually driven? Possibly…. Then again, was this information attained while in communion with our “Creator” or by your research and comprehension? Either way, how do we know it as truth… were you by yourself or with someone who could validate what you learned, or..... is the source readily available support that validation?

I could go on & on, but do you see how that works? Nahhh, maybe I mixed you up by trying to make sense and not making sense.

But, I’m going to get to my point… I think!   Ok,

So, to keep this short as to hold your attention (Lord knows I’ve rambled enough) … we all are intelligent beings, some more so than others.

Some of us “Don’t know that we don’t know”, while others “Think they know but they really don’t know”, Then there are those who know what they know and will go to any lengths to make you believe they know what they know…. Therefore, there is a great chance you will follow them.

Thus, power, dominance and so called “riches”. Get my drift….

This leads to the opening question, “Are We souls or spirits”? When the question(s) should be… Are we followers of those who follow and take, or are we students of Knowledge & Wisdom?

Remember, “how do you now know what you know”?

Now, the scripture (chose one…. Oh, just chose any religion, book or whatever) says the “spirit” is an immaterial part of the human man and or woman.

Now, we also know through research… that this word “spirit” is interchangeable with “soul”. For instance, “Adam” was seen as a “soul”, was he not? Therefore, we as humans…. Man and woman, are never described as “spirits” …. We have “spirits”, but we are not “spirits”.

And how do I know this to be true? I researched it thoroughly, comprehended what the words were saying, no one was with me to validate what I was reading, so…. “it just sounded right to me and that's what I believe”. Now you tell me, am I right or wrong.... either way, how do you know whether your assessment is correct or valid, where is your proof?

See how that works, you don’t know what you know, until you find it, study it, believe it or not. Then you tell someone of what you learned, if they do not agree with your belief in your findings.... you dispute their assessment. Then you go with your feelings and you say to yourself… Self, I know what I know and that’s what I’m going with. See, that’s the stupidity of our “free unbridled will”.

We want to blame the “Creator” for all this mess and confusion that we are in…. Got news 4 you, “On the real, real” as he was bringing me back to this mess in 2016 (Check out my profile under “articles” read “Who turned out the Lights”).

The “Creator” our Lord pointed out something very simple that is constantly overlooked by mankind…. The Lord says, this “Free Will” thing I gave to you, this is your mess and confusion!

Now, here we go.... we want to ask, why God let this or that happen? The Lord said, I gave you free will, I'm just sitting back and watching you mess up a lot of things using your "free will". Remember, I also gave you a brain to discern between right and wrong. Most of you can't get that right, because you continue to deplete mankind with your wicked ways.

The Lord also say's; you possess the "Free Will" to believe in me or mankind...… you decide.

The Lord also said to me; Believe what you want to believe junior…. Because I will always and forever be…. “I AM”!! I digress….

Know who or what is causing all of this calamity for mankind on earth and in your personal life. Don't let anyone one fool you with that "why would your God allow this or that to happen"? A lot of "BUNK"! This is mankind's will and not the will of The “Creator” our Lord.

Come on folks.... simple thinking, are you stupidly smart or willfully intelligent?

You alone are responsible for your own salvation, no matter what people tell you or what your findings through research unveils. There is no generational curse or none of that other non-sense, you and only you in the end.
