We slept outside for a night so homeless kids don't have to

It was a cold night in Atlanta and sleeping outside would not have been my first choice, had it not been to raise awareness about an issue that affects 3,300 homeless youth in Atlanta. In an effort to support Covenant House, an organization that offers housing and support services to young people, I and four of my CBRE colleagues, together with a group of over 100 people, participated in Sleep Out on November 16th.

As a team, we raised $56,000; this contribution helped our group in Atlanta blow past our original goal of $600,000 by raising more than $720,000 combined – what a great success!
