We at SIG: Meet Antie from Rayong

Our “We at SIG” series, in which we feature some of our amazing SIGers, continues. This time we introduce you to Antie Sarakum from Rayong (Thailand), Assistant to the Operations Director Rayong and Future+ Ambassador.

Antie has been with SIG for eleven years and is “still in love with the SIG family”, as she says. You may have come across her name because she is very active as a Future+ Ambassador – in fact, she was nominated in several categories for the Future+ Ambassador Awards last year, winning one of them.

Tell us about your role. What is it like??

Antie Sarakum: I work at the aseptic carton plant in Rayong as Assistant to the Head of Operations, Miguel Gamito. In parallel, I also support other functions such as Safety, Sustainability, Commercial for customer visits and sometimes global events etc.

Do you have a special SIG moment you want to share?

Antie: I am very happy every time I organize activities and events. I have good support from the team and people love to participate. I had the opportunity to organize a big event for the Global Leadership Meeting in Thailand in 2017, which was amazing and memorable for everyone.

What motivates you to be a Future+ Ambassador?

Antie: I joined the program five years ago when it was called the Way Beyond Good program. Last year, the name was changed to Future+ Ambassadors. I am proud to be a part of this SIG initiative. Whenever I plan activities for our team here in Thailand, they all like to participate. It's nice that it's so well received, and we always have fun and happy times together.

What do you like to do when you're not working?

Antie: After work, I relax at home, play with my dog Khai-Tom, do yoga and go to the gym.
