Will We See You There?
This week, we wanted to highlight some upcoming conferences that are not to be missed!
The first conference applicable to you all will be the NHS ConfedExpo taking place on the 15th and 16th of June 2022 in Liverpool.
The NHS Confederation is the membership organisation that brings together, supports and speaks for the whole healthcare system in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. I am part of the Primary Care Network membership, and here is where I receive strategic and operational insights that support me in delivering my day to day work.
I really would be trying to operate in the dark without this community.
In this two day event, leaders from all over the system will come to share, discuss, debate the present and future, and showcase the best our sector has to offer.
Book here to register and if you see me there, come and say hi!
If you can’t make Liverpool, maybe you can make Birmingham on the 12th and 13th of October for Best Practice, which has been created for the Primary Care and General Practice community for over ten years.
Last year, 82% of Best Practice attendees felt the event presented them with very or extremely clear, practical and useful information, and 91% felt Best Practice Show met or exceeded their expectations, so this is not to be missed.

Next week I'll also be flying off to Denmark for an Integrated Care Conference run by the same company I am undertaking an online Certificate in Integrated Care with.
I chose this conference because I’m interested to see and learn from other parts of the world that are further along the integrated care journey than the UK.
Creating the space and taking the time
We know it can be difficult to book time out from work, and last year I missed Best Practice because there was too much going on, but not this year.
The hotels are booked. Team THC will be at Best Practice with me, so there is no backing out now, and I'll be speaking at the NHS ConfedExpo and Best Practice too.
Networking, speaking on a stage and travelling to new places can be daunting, and despite how extroverted I may appear online, I’m really quite introverted and love nothing more than cycling miles, miles, and miles by myself!
However, I wouldn’t be doing my job to the best of my ability if I only recycled the same old ideas, so I must keep learning.
I am also positive that from my time at NHS ConfedExpo in Liverpool, Best Practice in Birmingham, and the Integrated Care Conference in Denmark it will,
