??. Are we saying 'Goodbye' to our brain? ??

??. Are we saying 'Goodbye' to our brain? ??

Are we letting AI putting our brains into retirement and fast-er cognitive decline? ?

Which manifests as difficulties in memory, problem-solving, pure concentration, overall worse cognitive functioning and more risk for dementia, depression and other mental diseases and disorders.?

While we are all excited and hyped around AI capabilities and advancements (which is perfectly normal and awesome), we are simultaneously and drastically forgetting to train and care of our brain and intelligence capabilities. Which is already having terrible consequences, as statistics and medical records show, especially by children, younger generations, digital natives and all who are "forgetting" to feed and use their brain to sustain them healthy.

Artificial intelligence and generative AI is probably the most important technology of our lifetime. And we are no longer the smartest beings on the planet.?

AI can process information at the speed of light, it remains focused on specific tasks without distraction, it can see the future, it can replicate itself, it can predict outcomes, it can use sensors to see around physical and virtual corners, it can be emphatic, it can have sense of humour, it’s creative, it’s extremely innovative and we are only at the very beginning of its development and potential.?

And as we can see with the latest development and disruptive innovations by DeepSeed, it is changing, re-inventing itself and surprising us all as no technology or innovation before.

In 2 decades AI will be a billion times more intelligent than humans, as predicted by AI experts.?

?Now what??

  • We hopefully have enough wisdom, therefore it’s up to us how we respond to AI, how we use it, how we let it support us in making our lives and jobs better, more efficient and easier, and how we (re)define our everyday routines and lives. For ourselves, for children, for business and for the society.?
  • Despite the fact that AI is smoothly, unpredictably, imperceptibly, subtly and invisibly entering our world and lives, we still have the power of our own intelligence growth, our psychophysical health and our wisdom in our own hands.?
  • I would say wisdom is a powerful combination of knowledge, experience, intelligence, common sense, critical thinking, healthy scepticism, sensible thinking, empathy, good judgment and gut feeling.?
  • We have to use our brain and treat it well to keep it going and be healthy. Without brain health, we are unable to be, do or feel who and what we are. We and our brains are are designed to lifelong learning, being challenged, create, develop, improve, impact, help, inspire, move, grow, and feed our brain with best experiences and foods to help it thrive and enable its plasticity.?

?? Daily action:

?? Be infinitely curious

?? ?Keep on learning (math, physics, languages, lateral thinking, complex problems solving, logic, memory games)

?? ?Question everything?

?? ?Live healthy and active

?? ?Learn and practice new sports?

?? ?Practice art, play instrument, try dancing

?? ?Find your (new) talents and passions that don’t require electricity

?? ?Go daily outside into nature

?? ?Re-find your humanness and benevolence

?? “Three great forces rule the world: stupidity, fear, and greed.”

- Albert Einstein

So:

  1. let’s not be stupid, thinking AI is just a hype or a temporary tech thing?
  2. there’s no need to be afraid, but be awake and curious
  3. let not greed of success make us forget that we are smart, but still humans, still animals, still nature

And let's not forget to feed it same as other parts of our only lifelong vehicle /body: nutritious food, good fats, enough sleep, regular exercise, often or intermittent fasting, sense of humour with laughter, lots of relaxation, nurturing our social life with great relationships that bring us joy and happy hormones rise (oxytocin, serotonin, endorphins and dopamine).

Great article Mateja! Makes me wonder—are we really saying goodbye to our brains, or have some people simply never met theirs? ?? In an age of AI autopilot, thinking before reacting seems like a lost art. Let’s keep our brains engaged before they become just another obsolete gadget. ????

We all didn’t stop thinking when we old-timers moved from slide rules to calculators. Today, using #AI doesn’t mean turning off our brains—it means shifting focus to higher-level problem-solving and innovation. #GIGO"
