New Years Day?means different things to different people.
….It’s certainly a mixed bag!?
After an interesting two years, for many riddled with challenges, difficulties, and restrictions a plenty, it has never been more true – the importance of focussing on the positive and building your own future.
I can already hear many objecting that they had no opportunity to do this, as rights and movement have been somewhat restricted by the powers that be, but the truth is very different!?
Love them or hate them, social media channels and media platforms like Facebook, Instagram & YouTube – when understood and used properly, can be powerful educational tools to those ready to utilise them.?

She took the news of COVID closing down the industry she was building a career in (hospitality), and built it into something ON HER TERMS!?
Many have complained about the restrictions, but as my good friend?Brian Fanzo?AKA?@iSocialFanz?suggests…?

What does he mean??
In the same way?Poppy?could have taken the payments from furlough, and hoped that things changed for the better – this limitation actually lead to her taking to social media in a BIG way! That in turn opened doors, because she learned the skills, honed her craft in this new arena,?
There is truth in the saying..?

??What would you like to be able to achieve??
??How much have you looked & tried??
Why not take to YouTube and use one of it’s most common search terms ‘HOW TO….’ And add a skill YOU wish you could develop over the coming new year!?

The opportunity to learn something new has never been easier and more readily available to you!?
Which leads me on to those making resolutions at new year. Whilst there is nothing wrong with this, I want to also remind you all that you can do this 365 days of the year, so why wait??
If you are unhappy where you are, why not make the change??

… is often cited as sharing that you don’t need to leave your current job to do this, but can instead work it around your current role until you have build the skills, experience & customer base or following in order to be able to leave your ‘regular job’ to chase this new career with a better chance of success.?
INFLUENCERS & SOCIAL MEDIA ROLES?are things that when I went to school were not even jobs, so don’t say it can’t be – they weren’t but now they are completely feasible full time roles! So instead try to ask ‘HOW CAN THEY BE?’
STAY CURIOUS?
STAY FOCUSSED?
STAY OPEN MINDED?
Instead of being caught out making New Years resolutions, this year I encourage you to reflect and be resourceful instead.?
Look back at what you enjoyed, and more importantly what you didn’t. Work out what skills you need to learn to make substantial change, and work on those things in your spare time. Build your base to grow from , and where necessary, the finance as well!?
Having built a tuck shop from ￡5 pocket money when I was 12, and now employing others across the world through our digital media agency – I know what I am sharing to be true.?

Content is how people can discover you organically, get to know you and how you can help them, utilising your skillset, and how you can close more sales, with greater ease!?
Content takes many forms and needs to be in your strategy for 2022!?
Think about how you can blog more, record video & audio, create graphics & write longer form content to help people understand how you can better help them.?
