We are Responsible for Our Share in Every Occurrence Where We Have Felt Taken Advantage Of
We are responsible for our share in every occurrence where we have felt taken advantage of. After all, the only way you could let the devil into heaven is if you open the gate or someone leaves the gate open. What you see ill in another is a reminder of what lies within yourself. The natural outcome of seeing a monster is to want to fight but be weary not to transform when this full moon casts its shadow before you. This is where your life’s contradiction lies and, in that moment, you are living dead and dying inside. I know they wronged you, it is true. Keep this thought at an arm’s length for if too close it will consume you, the you is who can be; your potential. It is the evolution of you, over and through you and before you knew what you know now. Therefore, who you are now is not who you were then and in regard to your antagonist, those that wronged you didn’t, they only disrespected themselves and you were involved. You were there and with due course something about you had you in their midst and for that, you are responsible for your part. To blame would be a cheap trick to avoid growth and to avoid authenticity. When our attention is on another then it is not on ourselves and therefore, we can get away with self-harm. It is irresponsibility when not listening and talking to hear ourselves to justify what we seek in gratification as we are vulnerable yet do not admit it. We attract those that will feed off our self-hatred and resentment. They laugh, cry and appear as they know how we feel because they do – it is us who do not trust and therefore we omit, lie to ourselves, and hold back the tough questions along with our tears. We avoid the real conversations and subdue our potential and our authenticity. It is we who succumb to our inner monster, it is our abyss that beckons wrongdoing and what do we do when it is cast our way? We blame and complain about and to the other parties involved. “Who are they?” and “Why me?” and “What right do they have?” are our natural retorts. The pain we feel inside that we bury deep keeps us far away for years. We have been hurt, betrayed and now in dismay and we must not forget what has happened, but the lesson lies in the overcoming and responsibility is the case. Remember, the only way the devil gets into heaven is if you open the gate or someone leaves the gate open!
