Have you considered how to create a resilient team? An unusual aspect of resilience is that it is an acquired skill. So the first step you should take is to identify the key elements that will help your team recover and get back on the road to success. Here are four characteristics we believe should top your list.

  1. ?? Honesty - When your team is candid with one another, they can quickly and easily resolve problems and challenges. Seek to create a culture where open dialogue is valued and encouraged to flourish.?
  2. ?? Ingenuity - Resilient teams embrace challenges and are not deterred by roadblocks. ? ? Together, they come up with effective solutions. Creative thinking often drives them to achieve the goal and focus on the outcome.
  3. ???? Empathy - Successful teams show genuine concern for one another. They share in each other’s successes and failures. Being committed to the team is more important than individual recognition.?
  4. ???? Humility - Your team members should be able to admit it when they need help. It is detrimental to the entire team when someone hides their struggles. Instead, encourage your people to be responsible to one another to meet challenges and find solutions.?
