IF WE REALLY WANT TO SOAR LIKE EAGLES, WE SHOULDN’T BE RUNNING AROUND WITH TURKEYS!

The passage, ‘If sinners entice you, do not consent’ (Proverbs 1:10 NKJV), reminds those who keep saying, ‘But aren’t we supposed to love everybody?’ that, the answer is yes, but we are not supposed to lean on them, listen to them, learn their wrong ways and become like them because, if we do, they will tear us down instead of build us up, keeping us from living 100 per cent for God until eventually, we end up like Samson, who developed unhealthy relationships that led him astray. In other words, constant exposure to wrong attitudes and values will eventually take its toll on our lives. So let the knowledge that: 1) We are asking for trouble when we choose the wrong friends; 2) The friends we should keep are those who bring out the best in us, lift us up, encourage us and make us better individuals; 3) If we really want to soar with eagles, we shouldn’t be running around with turkeys; teach you, when it comes to choosing friends, to choose only those who fear God and obey His commandments!FG. www.fgtalks.com
