Newsletter 5: Future Education 3.0 We really are in Back to the Future Part II territory now.

What an incredible week of exploration and inspiration in the field of education! The Future Education 3.0 concepts and ideas have presented me with amazing visions of what is actually possible in current landscape. One standout connection is with Polo Lam from Deseo VR in Spain, who introduced me to some mind-bending VR tours for schools. Equally mind-blowing was the opportunity to join CEO Douglas Farajado at XENNIAL Xennial Digital, where I had the privilege of stepping into a real functioning pilot's cockpit.

Amidst these remarkable encounters, the possibility of generating text from thoughts in the near future left me in awe. The thought-provoking talks by Sal Khan and Ethan Mollick further solidified the potential of these ideas in real classrooms, don't miss these two talks and the links are below.

However, the most unforgettable experience of the week undoubtedly took place in NOSTRA, the B2B Virtual Reality Metaverse Platform. CEO Sam Clever patiently and kindly guided me through 10 unique and immersive VR worlds that left me speechless.

What made this experience even more remarkable was that the three participants in the demo were located in Mexico, Dubai, and Philadelphia. The seamless quality of the interaction was truly impressive, showcasing the power of technology to connect people across vast distances.

It's truly an exciting time to be part of the education landscape, with endless possibilities unfolding before us.

If there is any time left this week, I am going to try and turn myself into a Disney character, hopefully with a dog that can talk to me.
