We are ready

Coming out of last week’s Commvault Ready kickoff event, we are focused, reinvigorated and ready to seize the opportunity ahead of us this year.

Since I joined a few months ago, we’ve made numerous adjustments internally to make us easier to do business with; to drive execution excellence; and to extend our already unrivaled, 20-year history of innovation and experience solving customers’ data problems. It’s still early, but here are just a few reasons why I believe Commvault is poised to win.

First, we are perfectly situated to address an industry influx. Customers are setting their sights on hybrid and multi-cloud, embracing new application and development approaches, and looking for ways to unlock value from their data faster. We have the products and capabilities to help them today, and as they transform for the future.

Second, we have the right team at the right time. Over the last few weeks, we balanced our deep bench of long-time Commvault veterans with new executives that bring fresh perspective on cloud, modern application development and other bleeding-edge technologies. Most recently, we added Riccardo Di Blasio as our chief revenue officer; Sandra Hamilton to lead our customer success organization; and Tom Broderick to drive our strategy and business readiness.

Third, Commvault has been training for this for 20 years. We are battle-tested with the best technology, strongest roadmap and more than 600 patents in our arsenal. We have loyal customers and are strengthening our partner ecosystem. We are debt-free with money in the bank, so we have the ability and flexibility to invest responsibly to further our innovation without needing to find outside investors. And, we have thousands of employees globally ready to help our customers on their journeys.

As I told the team at our kickoff event last week, the odds are in Commvault’s favor. In fact, we even have some additional industry validation coming soon. Most importantly, we are more than ready to help our customers successfully transform for their future.
