Are we ready for it? 2023 here we come!

There’s high hopes for 2023 isn’t there? Covid in the rear-view mirror. Travel open again. Optimism that 2023 is THE year to make stuff happen after a few years of well….how can I put it? Crap.

I am certainly in that bucket of optimism. I bought one of those poster size “whole year on one page” calendars. Mapped out when I’m running courses and events, when I’m running the 2023 APAC (and now Europe) Diversity & Inclusion Salary and Market Survey, when school holidays are, when I’m travelling (oh how I have missed business travel), when Arran Pearson is doing long bike ride event thingys, when we are travelling to a friends wedding….so many things.

I have planned out my marketing and social media. I have mapped out what needs to happen every week and every month. It's so good to have a plan and things to look forward to isn’t it?

One of the biggest things I have planned this year for a special (cough) milestone birthday in March is attending the Her Empire Builder Retreat in Palm Springs at The Saguaro Hotel, Palm Springs, CA, USA.

I really want to take my business and work to the next level in 2023 and I have learnt that travel, a change of scenery and also being with Americans and their unfailing confidence always challenges me to thing bigger and better. Can't wait!

There may also be some lying by the pool and getting some sun (apparently Palm Springs gets over 350 days of sunshine unlike Auckland New Zealand which has mostly rained since July 2022) and now has an egg situation.

So I want to know, what are YOU looking forward to in 2023?
