We react according to our perception!

This creates reactive behaviour patterns, and through learned behaviour this becomes an unconscious addictive habit.
This is a learned behaviour, through setting a perception.
An interesting twist to unconditional responses.
Ivan Pavlova Russian Soviet neurologist had the idea that dogs do not need to learn certain things, such as salivating when they see food. He said these reflexes are hard-wired into dogs. He coined the dog's food as an unconditioned stimulus and the salivation as an unconditioned response - this response did not require any learning on the dog's part.
When we become aware of the cost of addictive behaviour, we must break down, and deconstruct, past experiences and current perceptions to see the cognitive pattern.
This can even be used to understand limiting beliefs.
Once we deconstruct it and find the pattern we can rebuild the pattern we prefer to create.
So how can this be used in leadership?
Perceptions can build leadership teams or can tear companies apart.
Human to human interaction will unearth the truth of who you are and what you stand for!
When you act upon negative thoughts and feelings based on perceptions from past experiences you will create a fictional reality.
This is what will warp your truth.
A leader is someone that humbly serves, using their emotions for good intentions.
From the Gallup statistics:
A poll shows
In 2021, four in 10 adults worldwide said they experienced a lot of worries (42%) or stress (41%), and slightly more than three in 10 experienced a lot of physical pain (31%). More than one in four experienced sadness (28%), and slightly fewer experienced anger (23%).

These statistics above are extremely alarming.
There are many tools that I use in my practice to help individuals Conquer their Uncomfortable.
Every single person has their own level of discomfort and what’s uncomfortable for each individual is different from the next. However, the range of tools can help everyone.
Worry and stress are bodily sensations and are signals for us to be consciously aware that a situation is important to us.
Through my practice I believe, often our learned behavioral reaction is to give meaning to a situation, rather than to focus on the situation and respond with positive or constructive actions.
In Cognitive behavioural therapy, we use a tool called ABC.
Physical pain is what we call uncomfortable.
What are the steps to conquer? The uncomfortable is to understand what’s the underlying thought patterns behind the bodily and the physical pains.
Oprah Winfrey said:
“Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough.”
Your perception of nothing will set your minimum standards for everything.
My general advice to you the reader:
Stop basing your current situations on perceptions that are backed up with evidence from past experience.
Lean into the tension, ask the uncomfortable questions and learn more about yourself.
As the ultimate goal in life I believe is to understand yourself so that you can articulate yourself to the world and understand others.
Go forth and Be Exceptional!
