Welcome back to our monthly LinkedIn newsletter, Business Brief, where we round up Tampa Bay's top business news and trends.

For the past 15 years, the Tampa Bay Times has surveyed employers in the region to gain an understanding of what it's like to work in a variety of industries, and from a number of companies, for our annual Top Workplaces ranking.

This year was no different.

More than 100,000 local employees agreed to take part in rating their places of business. We surveyed 208 companies to come up with the top 100.
