Hello! Tell us what you do at QIC digital hub and what you particularly like about it?

Hi! I’m a Senior Social Media Specialist here at QIC digital hub. But I like to call myself a Chief Vibes Officer because, honestly, that’s what social media is all about. I manage all our social media pages: from this LinkedIn page to our main Instagram account @qic_online.?

I enjoy many things about QIC digital hub: we have a great team; they are not only seasoned professionals but cool people as well. My job is remote, so I sometimes work from random countries if I want to. And the products we work with constantly evolve, so my skills develop simultaneously. It’s never boring!

Tell us more about your previous experience ????

I’ve been doing social media for as long as I can remember. And it organically became my job. Before QIC, I had a chance to work at some of the best marketing agencies in Moscow: SETTERS and Mosaic. My clients included Sberbank, Yandex, Ritter Sport, Reckitt Benckiser, Movenpick, Colgate and many more. I was doing all kinds of things from content creation to account management.?

Where are you from, and where do you live right now?

I’m originally from a city in Russia called Cherepovets; it’s famous for its hockey team and a steel factory. Now I live in Moscow, it’s one of the most convenient cities on Earth. Having groceries delivered in 10 minutes is addicting. So I’m here for the time being.

Top-3 reasons to visit you?

Oh, let’s meet someplace else, can we? It’s kinda impossible to catch me in Moscow these days. We can meet in:

• Paris. I was there this August and I plan to go back. Let’s have pain au chocolat in Le Marais!
• New York. I’m thinking of going back there as well; maybe we can split the rent and visit MoMA??
• Cherepovets. Well, it’s the capital of the world, I’d love to show you around. There is a street that always smells like vanilla.

What do you do besides work? What drives you?

I love to travel. Don’t think it means vacation! Well, vacations are nice too…

What I do is I stay at one location for a week or so and try to live my usual life from there.?

I work in the first half of the day. After that, I turn on my travel mode and try to see as much as I can, go to local restaurants, take pictures of everything, talk to people if I happen to know the language.

This lifestyle actually helps me to focus on my job more, because I can reset my brain everyday, and not wait till the weekend to relax.

What challenges do you face in your job?

Navigating cultural differences and language barriers is my biggest challenge, but I embrace it by actively immersing myself in this world.?

Although I'm not a native, I continuously try to broaden my understanding of Middle Eastern culture and learn new ways to engage with our audience. Each day brings fresh insights into regional trends and lifestyles, allowing me to grow both personally and professionally.

What is your hobby?

Concerts and festivals are something I’ve always enjoyed. This summer I got to see Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in Warsaw and attended the Sziget Festival in Budapest. Both were amazing experiences!

What’s your star sign?

I’m an Aquarius! It’s a perfect sign to be a Social Media Manager because this sign is all about communication and trends. Also, I happen to know most of my colleagues' star signs just in case…?

What movie/series character do you identify with?

Kat Stratford from ‘10 Things I Hate About You’. It’s a 90’s romcom, my favorite.

What’s the most surprising thing about you?

I’m learning Arabic! I think it’s really important to understand the audience we’re working with. I can type the word ‘habibi’ and I’m very proud of that.
