We are publishing our young people’s work – and you can help to make it a reality!
Can you imagine how excited they are? To see their own poems and photography in print? Our young people have been getting creative over the last year and you can help us make their work come to life in contributing to our Crowdfunder. In donating you’ll not only be supporting the print and publishing of an Anthology, but also contributing to our ability to provide a full range of activities for families and young people throughout the year.
Our Family Programme was originally established as a direct response to the Grenfell Tower tragedy. Since then it has become a core part of our offering to the community, working with over 500 children, young people, parents and carers across North Kensington and beyond. All the activities and services we offer are designed to address the key needs of education, wellbeing and employability.?

Promoting Young People’s Voices
During the last academic year, coinciding with the pandemic, we ran regular after-school clubs for creative writing and photography, led by writer and English Teacher Fiona Clarke and photography expert Laura Noble. These sessions, for young people aged between 7 and 14, were aligned to curriculum outcomes in Art and English, whilst also promoting creativity and confidence. The common theme of ‘A Day in My Life’ gave the participants the opportunity to share their personal perspectives and provide a platform to empower youth voices across our diverse local community.
We are incredibly proud of the brilliant work our young people have produced and would love to celebrate their creativity and share their stories in a published book that they can be proud of.The Anthology will feature poems, artwork and photography from over 25 children and young people, in a professionally produced, full colour, 52 page, perfect bound paperback.
Our target is £1,000 and your support in getting us there will enable us not only to publish their work, but to also add to our wide programme of activities - ongoing, holistic support, throughout the year, accessible to all our families.?
