We pretend to think big but act small

We pretend to think big but act small

We must ask great Questions only ?

Why can’t everyone be rich ??

If this question seems too audacious to ask then let me soothe some of the nerves.

We can reframe the question to look less unsettling for many?out there in the leadership ecosystem.

Why can’t everybody be more or less equal in terms of economic prosperity??

Ok. wait. This question also seems to be far fetched and unachievable?

Then maybe it is time for humanity to lower the bar even low and finally settle for this question. ?

Why can’t every human be above a certain defined threshold limit of economic prosperity ??

This is the lowest bar that could be set up in the arena of economic leadership.

But as on today the humanity has not even achieved this level of success.

The Common Threshold of Humanity

The "lowest threshold bar" set above can be relative from place to place. It should be such that it provides acceptable dignified economic life to everyone on the planet. This actually is part of the policy but the succcess rate is unsatisfactory.

In simple terms the "lowest threshold bar" means there will be no poor when everyone is above that threshold mark.?I am not asking to make everyone rich.?I am only demanding to free everyone from poverty and economic disparity. This is possible but it gets derailed because of the apetite of Imperialism & Colonialism which is ever increasing by the day. The amount of military spending the world does to kill each other could be easily used to feed each other. It could lead to economic prosperity for all.

Almost all the wars in the world has been fought for the economic interests of the arms manufacturing corporations and the bankers but rarely for the country. This is the naked truth behind all the economic disparity among humanity. If the world leadership can collectively ban slavery, cannibalism, human trafficking and other forms of inhumanity then this begets a simple question. Why has war not been collectively banned or outlawed till now ?

Why is it not happening ?

The reason is the urge for domination of one humanity over the other and to maintain the haegomony at any cost. This is the simple definition of Imperialism & Colonialism in a nutshell and this perhaps the only great answer I can think about.

Is it too much to ask ?

Is it too much to ask for economic equality from human civilization which maybe 20000 years old officially ??We humans believe that we are superior to all the living species because of our intelligence. But is it so ? I do not know of any deliberate and imposed economic inequalities in the other living organisms as in the humans. ?At least I confess not to have read or seen it anywhere?among the animal kingdom.

We pretend to think big but act small?

We are on the verge of conquering and colonising distant planets. But if we do not conquer our greatest failure that is war and economic inequality, then the same anomaly would remain on Mars also. Both the Imperialism & Colonialism would defintely run the show as it is happening now. To be very precise the Mars and distant planets would be also taken under the control only because to satisfy the urge for Imperialism & Colonialism. Such is the irony of humanity now.

I am sure that we would be replicating our dismal failure in the heavenly worlds?also. I doubt if any extra-terrestrial living being would be impressed by our economic track records. ?It is time now to atleast impress them so that they have good opinions about the human leadership. ?

It seems we have imposed upon ourselves the world leadership that pretend to think big but actually acts small.

Do you also think so ?

People in places many of us never heard of... want a decent standard of living. They want human dignity and a voice in their own futures. To combat economic disparity, we must prioritize a universal minimum standard of living for all, guided by ethical principles from diverse philosophies, including the divinity (There is not a living creature on the earth but it is for God to provide its sustenance. He knows its dwelling and its [final] resting place…” (Hud: 6)). By fostering collaboration, investing in education, and redirecting resources from conflict to community development, we can create a more equitable society. This requires a commitment to justice, compassion, and shared responsibility, ensuring that prosperity is accessible to everyone, not just a privileged few.
