"… and we will pollute less"

Few days ago I went to the cinema with my children, 9 and 10 years old: we watched Shazam, a very nice movie of a Marvel Superhero with, as expected, a lot of superpowers. He can run fast, he can shoot electricity from his finger, he is super-strong, his body rejects bullets, and as any “respectable” Superhero, he can also fly.
After the movie, in the car queuing on the way back home, I told to one of my child “imagine how nice would be to be able to fly home like Shazam. We will be there in few seconds”. And his answer was “…and we will pollute less”.
I was really surprised by his reply since when I was 9, I would not have answered like that.
I realized that nowadays our children understand very well how important is the environment and that it is a priority for them to pollute as less as possible.
The day “01-01-2020” will be a milestone for the Marine Industry, our industry, since it will not be allowed anymore by the #IMO International Maritime Organization to discharge in the air from ships funnels more than 0.50% SOx content.
The impacts of this decision could be many, but I am just thinking at one “….and we will pollute less”.
