We Are The Planets!
And - IT'S MY MUM'S BIRTHDAY!!!
Whilst acknowledging that weather isn't sentient, I'm also very annoyed with it. It's my mummy's birthday today and she was hoping to have visitors in her garden so she can celebrate (to a fashion). And now, on that very day, the first actual rain for about 63 years decides to fall from the sky.
So... up yours, weather!!!!
Thankfully mum has a car port which is relatively large and we can all pile under that after going through the sheep dip.
So sod the weather, and sod it twice, we will have a bit of fun anyway, right Phyl Mynott?
Can we all wish my mummy a very happy 75th birthday please, and say lots of things to make her smile? Thank you!!
I've another pallet of books arriving today, Isla's cracking little book 'We Are The Planets' is selling brilliantly so I have ordered 2,000 copies (such is my faith in that little girl's creation) and I'm about to send her first royalty payment over, too. Not bad for a 6 year old, eh? You will have to wish me luck as I carry 20 boxes of books up a flight and a half of stairs, won't you? ????
If you haven't seen Isla's book, look it up over at ShookBop. ???? and be sure to tell your friends and family!!
Today I'd like to know what you are going to do now the weather has changed for a while. Note: I acknowledge that other weather has existed outside of West Suffolk but I'm allowing myself to be blinkered to that for the purpose of this post.
No blue sky to use for your sky time today, but the clouds work just as well!
Have a lovely day, and don't forget to wish mum a happy birthday. ??
Big Love. X
