We partnered with more than 60????Swiss Companies to find them their perfect freelance team with an average time-to-hire of 12 days. This is how..

  1. Consultation Preparation: When a potential client reaches out to our organisation they reach either Paula Kokare or myself who prepare for our initial meeting by researching LinkedIn, Company Pages and reviewing any preliminary information provided. As your Granny says 'Fail to prepare - prepare to fail'.
  2. Initial Consultation: During the initial consultation we discuss together the broader business need behind the role, hard and soft skill requirements and elements like budget, timezone, location. We found the secret to a successful collaboration is investing time in this step so that expectations are exactly aligned.
  3. Brief Sourcing Team: Once we have the key criteria and details, we bring our sourcing team onboard, who often have great insights to add based on what locations, channels and existing team members have delivered success on similar roles in the past.
  4. Drafting the Role Description: Together with the sourcing team we draft the most compelling (yet still accurate) role description that will appeal to the best talent on the market and help to qualify the candidates coming into the pool.
  5. Active Sourcing: We constantly screen a broad variety of channels, networks and niche groups to identify the best candidates in the area and initiate discussions with them about the role.
  6. Initial Screening Questions: For each role we typically screen around 20 candidates for the essentials of the role including legal registration, availability, portfolio etc.
  7. Initial Screening Interview: For the candidates that pass initial screening we perform an initial interview to clarify their experience, assess soft skills and obtain an missing information from their portfolio or CV.
  8. Second Screening Interview: At this stage, we usually have around 3-4 extremely well qualified candidates and we use the second interview as a chance to get to know them better and discuss more specific details about the role.
  9. Presenting The Candidates: After approx. 7 days, we come back to our clients with 2-3 final candidates for the role. While all are qualified for the role, we include a mix of seniority, budget and location to allow the client to choose what matters most to them.
  10. Interview Coordination: Once a client has decided who they would like to interview, our team takes care of all the interview coordination and set-up. This keeps things straightforward and time efficient for our clients.
  11. Candidate Briefing: Each candidate receives a full brief ahead of the meeting the client, meaning that prior to the interview, both sides have a solid background on which to base the discussion. It also helps to dispel any pre-interview nerves.
  12. Final Interview: When the day of the final interview comes around we join the client and the freelancer on the call to help structure the discussion, answer any questions and make sure both sides get the information they need to make an informed decision.
  13. Debriefing: Following the interview(s) we have a short debrief with the both the client and the freelancer(s) to get their impressions of the call and determine and define the next steps.
  14. Trial Task Coordination: After the final interviews most clients are sure that they would like to go ahead, but if they aren't, we organise a trial task like a short article, social media or any other task that gives an accurate impression of what working together could look like.
  15. Contractual Set-up: If all goes well... we prepare all required legal documentation for signature before work starts. As an established????Swiss organization, we ensure a robust and local legal setup for our clients.
  16. Team Management: We don't just support with the onboarding of the freelancer, but we also perform monthly check-ins to make sure our freelancers have the set-up and conditions they need to perform to the best of their ability. This helps us raise any areas of feedback as soon as possible.
  17. Client Partnering: Unsurprisingly, we do something similar with our clients. While we aren't involved in the day-to-day work, we regularly keep in touch to ensure an optimal set-up, forecast any changes in workload or discuss changing hiring needs.

If we had a penny for everytime we heard this wasn't a scalable model - we wouldn't even need a model at all, we'd already in sunning ourselves on some ski slope.

But we are proud to say that's not our business. We really care and take pride in the work that we do and value the partnerships we have with our clients and our freelance team.
