We open the door to yet another expansion, this time in Ume?!

We are delighted to announce the next chapter in the Knightec North story. As the region is growing, so are we. We spoke with Anette Meijer , Regional Manager at Knightec and a proud northerner, about the move to the new office and why Knightec needs to continue to expand its physical spaces.?

"The main reason for moving is that we are expanding in the Ume??region and therefore need a bigger office. The old office filled its purpose with great satisfaction, but as our business grew, so did we. As a direct consequence of taking on more and larger projects, we outgrew the current office as we are increasing the number of employees in a fast-forward mode.", says Annette Meijer. This is a great problem to have since it enables Knightec to welcome more people into the company and makes an even more significant positive impact on the northern region of Sweden. As part of our 2023 business goals, Knightec is expanding its business with a steady intake of new clients and projects.?

Ume? is one of the fastest-growing cities in Europe in a sparsely populated arctic region with a strong focus on research and development. A new, larger office allows Knightec to be at the forefront. While a new office makes more space, Knightec can provide a unique and updated working environment for all its coworkers. They will be able to increase the number of satellites, now working within the whole Sweden area but from Ume? Office.?

"We can focus more on team delivery when we can be in the same area within all business units. For instance, Daresay, which Knightec merged with a couple of years ago, will move to this new location, putting all of Knightecs business units under one roof. The space will provide the latest and updated workshop areas, meeting rooms, and a lab room, allowing better collaboration between teams and employees. We will be able to work closely together within different business areas to provide team delivery to our customers from the exact location", continues Annette Meijer.

The expansion highlights the importance of togetherness in a world where individualist forces are more critical than ever. "It is vital for us to make everyone feel welcome, as we are about quality for the employees, the customers, and our business", concludes Annette Meijer.
