We Needn't Have 1/3 of Our Population Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes!
There is a huge problem out there in the world which some thoughtful docs are looking at from the point of view of 'cause' understanding, that it is only when we get to the 'cause' of the problem, that the problem can actually be overcome.
In the world of type 2 diabetes, I am finding more and more that the people on the Facebook pages that are looking for help from others who have been down the same path are utterly confused by the misinformation and conflicting information. I would go as far as to say the militant attitude that some have on these pages is off putting and demeaning to those who are truly looking for answers to overcome their problem. They are in a state of disbelief and fear without any need for this sort of behavior on the part of the admins or others who take such a narrow view, and I would go as far as to say a misguided view in many cases. Because there is no one diet that will do the job for everyone - period! There are certain parameters that help, which is totally different than saying one has to be on the ketogenic diet, or the paleo diet or the Atkins diet, etc.
I can tell you that after doing a ton of research after losing my best friend at the age of 57 while having a heart stent put in, for heart disease none of his doctors noticed, that the way in which the conventional medical treatment is given is not only misguided, it is deadly.
My friend, Richard, was searching for help to get rid of a terrific pain that he was experiencing in his stomach which lead to one doctor telling him that he was looking for pain pills. That was NOT the case in this case - not in the least. He was working two jobs and somehow got to work most days despite the acute pain he was dealing with every single day.
When we look at the people such as my friend who was taking the medication as prescribed, working out every day for an hour a day though admittedly was not as good as maybe he could have been with the ingestion of sugars he had this terrible demise. Most patients are worse off from taking the medications given. You see them going from being diagnosed prediabetic, put on metformin (which for you men is a terrible thing, because it lowers your testosterone making you feel tired and irritable while not allowing the hormone to do the job it needs to do for you to keep you healthy). From there more medications are added till one is put on insulin. This causes great harm to the type 2 diabeteic because the cause of the problem is actually insulin resistance. Tell me how it could possibly be a good idea to give more of a substance that the body is unable to use? It is the height of lunacy and yet, the drug makers make tons of money selling insulin which will force men to put on fat. With your testosterone lowered by both your age and the metformin the fat goes to your belly and breast - as estrogen goes higher in relationship to your testosterone levels. And, it doesn't really matter how much you exercise or what you eat, because the insulin will put on that fat on you regardless. Wouldn't it be nice for your doctors to tell you this before having you placed on the insulin? Well, they won't tell you that and this is one reason why we have so many men with 'man boobs' and huge distended bellies walking around.
I have a different way of helping MEN who are between the ages of 40 and 60 whose testosterone is already much less than a younger mans to reverse their type 2 diabetes and it is a pretty easy way to allow it to happen.
However, it totally helps you if you understand what is going on in your body physiologically so you can see that which I am offering makes sense to you. I would not expect you to believe me just based on what I have written here - but if you go to the website that I am going to direct you to at the end of the article, there is a video I created for MEN between 40 and 60 years of age that will explain the physiology in a very easy to understand manner and give you a way to receive more assistance if information in the video makes any sense to you at all.
Because, my friend did not need to die on the operating table while he was on vacation with his girlfriend. Nor, did he need to go through all the physical pain that he did. None of that was necessary. And, yes I realize he could have done more to help himself in the area of foods he was ingesting, but even so, if he were given a better plan and knew that he could turn this around, instead of dying as his older brother did several years before, perhaps he would have had more hope and taken better care of himself. It's really hard to know. What I do know is that I was able to help a gentleman 46 years of age, who was over 300 pounds have his doctor take him off the metformin that was making him feel sick to his stomach and fuzzy headed inside of 12 weeks of our working together.
