We need your help to serve more clients like Rosie
As a lifelong Chicagoan and a single mother of 6, Rosie has experienced many ups and downs. Job loss. Health and mobility issues. A husband who left.?
She has found stability at Common Pantry, first coming for healthy food and then discovering support services for both her children and for physical therapy through Common Community Services. Rosie recalls when our longtime volunteer Janet helped her find a prom dress and shoes for Rosie’s daughter, when there was no way she could have provided them herself.?
Rosie looks forward to visiting Common Pantry in our new location, 3900 N. Lincoln Ave., later this year, with no stairs to worry about with her mobility issues. With renovations of our new building starting soon, we thank our entire community of supporters for your commitment to our mission.?
“I have seen Common Pantry start as a little seed and grow into a beautiful flower,” Rosie says.?
As we work to renovate the new space, we ask you to help us deliver on our mission by making a gift to Common Pantry. Simply visit CommonPantry.org/donations.?
Your generous support has helped us serve neighbors in need for over 5 decades. We know we can count on your help as we reach a new milestone in our history and for our clients. Thank you.?
Sincerely,
Margaret O’Conor, Executive Director
