We Need Your Help

Before the pandemic, one third of young people in the UK were lonely, half felt unready for work and half felt they didn’t belong to their local community. Now, during this crisis, 80% of young people with a history of mental ill health have said that the current situation is making them feel worse.
This could have disastrous consequences.
At GMYN, our key focus is supporting young people with experience of the care system and special educational needs and disabilities to feel safe, supported and cared for but, as charities and statutory services respond to the pandemic, the support available for these young people has suddenly changed and reduced.
But they now need this support more than ever.
We are doing everything we can to continue supporting some of the most isolated young people in Greater Manchester but, over the coming months, the charity sector is expecting a £4bn loss and individual charities, including GMYN, are expecting voluntary income to fall by 48%.
This means we need your help.
With isolated and vulnerable young people evermore in need of support, and with our income significantly reduced, we need your help to keep young people safe.
Your donation can help us increase and tailor the support that we can offer and make sure that isolated and vulnerable young people in Greater Manchester can navigate this challenging time. We can ensure that young people understand what vital support is available, how to access it, and how to stay safe and resilient throughout the pandemic.
Please donate today and help GMYN ensure that vulnerable young people in Greater Manchester can get through this.
With your help, #YoungPeopleCan.
